CALL FOR PAPERS
CONFERENCE DAY 1 AND DAY 2
Paper panels, and poster presentations
Participants are requested to present papers and posters that will draw on experience in a wide variety of areas relating to Social Innovation for Active and Healthy Age. Contributors of papers should plan for an oral exposition of their papers that should take not more than 20 minutes each one.
Authors of papers and creators of posters should focus their presentations on Social Innovation within the following areas of interest and fields of research:
1. healthier ageing
2. societal participation and inequalities
3. policy-making for ageing communities
4. services and new technologies for older people
5. social innovation programmes
6. decision-making, training, and ethics
7. the presentation and distribution of innovative, ageing-related products
8. measuring social impact of research on ageing
9. service solutions for older people
10. cultural and literary creativity as innovation for social change
The language of the Conference papers and poster presentations is English.
How to Submit an Abstract
In the case of papers, proposals will comprise a title and a 300-word (max.) abstract. In the case of posters, proposals will comprise a title and a 200-word (max.) description of the main theme or topic of the poster. All proposals must include the author’s(s’) full name(s), postal address(es), telephone number(s), email address(es), and institutional affiliation(s), together with a bio(s) (max. 200 words) for each author.
It is recommended that persons wishing to submit an abstract for the presentation of a paper use the Abstract Submission Template (paper).

Posters should be designed for presentation on boards measuring 130cm x 68cm. Presenters of posters must bring their posters with them to the Conference.

The deadline for submitting abstracts for papers and poster proposals is closed since the 22nd of May.
Notification of abstract appraisal
All authors who have submitted abstracts for papers and poster proposals before the 30th April 2016 will be notified as to whether or not their submission has been accepted for presentation at the Conference by 30th May 2016.
Those authors of abstracts for papers and poster proposals presented after 30th April 2016 will be notified as to whether or not their submission has been accepted for presentation at the Conference by 30th June 2016.
Following acceptance of their paper for presentation at the Conference, authors should inform the organisers of any infrastructure requirements for the presentation of the paper, for example, overhead projector, laptop, digital projector, etc.
