The second part of the morning session of the End-of-Project Symposium will be devoted to analysing and discussing with policy-makers both the main SIforAGE results and, in particular, the policy recommendations, as detailed below.

Discussion of The SIforAGE Policy Recommendations Guide will focus on strategies that fulfil Science-in-Society (SiS) objectives in public policies and programmes, and in actions devised to improve coordination with other gerontology stakeholders.

Given the importance that European Research Area objectives place on incorporating practical strategies in the design of Science-in-Society (SiS) actions for future European programmes, representatives from DG Research, DG ICT, DG Employment and Social Affairs, and DG Culture of the European Commission have been invited to participate in the Round Table.
