During the End-of-Project Symposium, the Basque Culinary Center (BCC), a SIforAGE Consortium Partner, will organize a Show-Cooking event. This activity combines both the creativity and knowledge of the most important chefs and nutritionists in the world, with an innovative and entertaining format.
Focused on presenting a meal suitable for Active and Healthy Ageing (AHA), the CaixaForum Auditorium will be temporarily transformed into a cooking showplace. A renowned chef will provide a live, hands-on description of the procedures and hidden details of the AHA cooking process, and will explain the underlying nutritional values of the foodstuffs used as ingredients. At the same time, on the screen, the audience will be able to enjoy a videoed commentary of the cooking process.
At the end of the presentation, members of the audience will have the chance to taste some of the dishes.
In this way, innovation, the art of cuisine, and Active and Healthy ageing will merge into one refreshing performance.
